Reduce, Re-use, Recycle

In our quest to reduce our carbon footprint at every one of our sites, where possible we aim to:

⬇️ Reduce
✅ Re-use
♻️ Recycle

👏🏻 Some examples of how we achieve this are:

⚡️ REDUCE our carbon emissions via use of electric vehicles, we even have some electric plant! The welfare units at each of our sites have electric charging points so that where possible operatives can arrive by electric vehicle and charge whilst working before driving home.

🪨 RE-USE – Sometimes there are materials left over from jobs that can be used for future jobs, we have storage which allows us to store left over materials from site to be utilised when the opportunity comes up.

👏🏻 RECYCLE – Example: We were able to take material from our Fleet Pond site which was processed on site to be used as a base material on another 2 local sites (Bramshot and Edenbrook). This allowed us to make huge savings on the carbon emissions as we weren’t bringing in new material by lorry and taking away the extracted waste material. This also lead to a financial saving on materials that would have been purchased.

You can see the savings we made on the infographic below:

We processed material from one site to be used on two other local sites, resulting in huge savings on carbon emissions!
