• Suttle Bridge Works within Highways Industry

Rail bridges are commonly historic structures designed and built in an era when the expectations from traffic volume and loadings, and climatic extreme, were quite different. This has left us in a position where problems with superstructure capacity, rail gauge, and durability of substructure foundations are a widespread problem.

Suttle Projects’ teams have a vast experience of working on and around historic rail structures of all types. We have full time teams involved in minor maintenance of brick structures in conjunction with Network Rail.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, we can apply heavy civils expertise to the replacement or strengthening of complete rail structures, with a self-delivery model that promotes value, dependable performance, and true innovation.
