Playground Chip is a natural & cost-effective alternative to rubber surfacing for play areas, as well as being a lot more aesthetically pleasing! Bark Nuggets and Woodland Mulch are your go-to for protecting planting areas, suppressing weeds and improve moisture retention. Whilst bark nuggets are chunky, woodland mulch offers the same benefits in a more subtle format. In our opinion this is one of the most underrated tips on our list of 5 ways to transform your garden!

4. Use Gabion to Build Practical and Attractive Retaining Walls

If your garden includes slopes, including levels created with retaining walls can help create more usable outdoor space while adding visual appeal. Our gabion stone is perfect for this, not only looking great, but also the perfect material for the job. What’s the first thing a visitor see’s when they come to your home? It’s often the driveway. Is yours looking its best? Or is it in need of a little TLC?

Using the right decorative aggregates for your driveway can make a world of difference. We don’t recommend using anything smaller than 20mm as it gets caught in your tyre tread and we also don’t recommend using our Cotswold chippings as they are too soft and will crumble over time.
