Frequently Asked Questions – Muck Away

Removing waste from site is a key part of site preparation, ensuring your site works as efficiently as possible.

We will come & collect your waste from your site (or home!), it is often more cost effective than a skip if you have a large amount of waste & more convenient.

For more information visit our dedicated page  here.

We accept: Inert Waste (clay, soils, sands, gravels), Hardcore (bricks, rubble, stone, concrete, tiles), Mixed Hardcore & Soils (Non-hazardous, mixed soil, rubble, clay and concrete), green waste.

Builders waste and demolition waste may be mixed together.

You will need to call to book in your muck away, so if you are unsure whether we accept your waste please ask over the phone.

Any waste containing hazardous properties is not accepted.

This includes: Asbestos, plasterboard, wood, invasive species (e.g Japanese Knotweed, bamboo), general waste (metals, plastic, household waste)

Muck away found to include any prohibited material will be returned to the site it originated from where you will be responsible to organise proper disposal.

If you have loading equipment on site we can supply one of our fleet of tipper lorries for you to load yourself, if you require us to load the material this will be done with a grab lorry from one of our trusted partners.

When you call our team to book in they will be able to give you an idea how many loads of muck away you require, we can provide a service on ‘turn around’ to keep coming back to site until it is clear.

Frequently Asked Questions – Delivery

No, you do not need to be at the property to accept the delivery. However, with National Pallet kerbside delivery we do recommend it. The drivers will where possible, deliver the bag to the requested location and leave without a signature.

For deliveries made by our own transport fleet where possible we can leave your order at a convenient location at the delivery address if it has been previously agreed.

Please note: We do not deliver or collect any load over roads or other ground which we consider to be unsuitable, if a vehicle used by us delivers materials to or (as the case may be) collects waste from a place situated off a public road, the customer will be liable for any accidental damage which may occur.

We will always call to book in a date and confirm delivery once your order has been placed and we have received it. Please tell us in this phone call when you would like to receive your order.

On our delivery service we can only guarantee between 7am and 5pm. We can advise the driver of any times to avoid which are unsuitable or where access may be an issue but cannot guarantee that we will be able to adhere to this.

If there are any concerns regarding access restrictions you can speak to a member of our  Sales Team beforehand who can offer advice.
