Suttle Stone Quarries is a family-run business in Dorset. For generations, we have been supplying high-quality aggregates and dimension stone from our two quarries on the Jurassic Coast.

With decades of experience in quarrying and construction materials, our team combines traditional expertise with modern sustainable practices. Complementing our quarry operations, our Poole Stone and Recycling Depot supplies building and landscaping materials to the local area as well as providing innovative recycling solutions, helping customers reduce their environmental impact while delivering exceptional products.

At our Swanworth Quarry, we specialise in both aggregate and dimension stone. Our aggregate offering includes quarrying, processing and supplying both primary and recycled aggregates to domestic and trade customers locally and in the national markets. We supply crushed limestone products ranging from limestone dust up to lumps of gabion stone and rock armour. Covering aggregate requirements from sub-base to decorative materials, as well as larger pieces for retaining walls and sea defences. Our modern fleet of FORS compliant tipper lorries guarantee a fast and reliable delivery service throughout our operational area, with the option to collect from our depots too.

California Quarry is dedicated to dimension stone, where we extract Purbeck stone blocks for local craftsmen. With a history of quarrying dating back to the 1930s, we possess unparalleled expertise in quarrying Purbeck stone, positioning us as leaders in our field. At our California Quarry in the heart of Swanage we craft roof tile, flooring, walling stone and bespoke items.
