Loose Mendip Type 3 (Loose)

Type 3 is a coarse aggregate material. It has good drainage ability making it ideal as a sub-base for a wide range of applications including:

• Sports pitches
• Equestrian arenas
• Tennis Courts
• Paving
• Pathways
• Highways

Produced from crushed rock which is screened and graded, it contains particles that range in size from 0mm to 40mm, and has fewer fines when compared to other sub-base materials such as Type 1. As a result of this it allows water to drain freely through the material, making it the ideal choice for projects that require drainage.
