Building Stone

This flagship range of products is popular for its renowned quality and attractive appearance. We can offer you the size and quantity you need when you need it.

Here are a range of our products; if you don’t know what you need, give us a call and we’ll help you. You can even visit our quarry to speak to our experienced experts and view samples of the stone. We’ll walk you through the process and make sure you get the end result you’re looking for.

Cropped walling/facing stone – perfect for cavity construction and facing to blockwork, we guillotine these stones to a gauged width front to back (standard 120mm-150mm).

Random walling – this is our best value and traditional product for building a Purbeck stone wall. You can also use it to build a retaining wall backed by earth and soil, or a free-standing wall using double skin construction.

Riven roof tile – available in lengths of up to one metre, our traditional Purbeck roofing tile is both stylish and functional.

Bespoke quoins and jambs – we make these distinguished entrance features to your requirements. Our customers use them to form corners, door and window reveals, in natural and sawn finishes.

Bespoke cills and lintols – providing effective finishing above and below doors and windows, made to order. They also come in natural and sawn finishes depending on your preference.

Bespoke coping – these stones are fixed to the top of walls to protect the inner wall from water damage. Our agricultural customers use them to stop livestock clambering over boundary walls. Available in sawn, riven (once/twice weathered), cock and hen finishes, these products are created according to your order.
