Suttle Projects Features in New Civil Engineer

Suttle Projects have recently featured in a February edition of NCE magazine covering a project for client London Underground undertaken by main contractor Dyer & Butler. The scour protection scheme for bridge MR80, which spans the River Gade near Watford, required river diversion works and the installation of permanent steel sheet piles both upstream and downstream of the bridge structure.

In keeping with our philosophy of operating only the most modern equipment, it was the first opportunity to deploy our brand new latest generation of Doosan DX255 LC3 excavator fitted with our Movax SP60F piling hammer and piped with biodegradable oil, necessary to complete our magnitude of work around inshore waterways. The article was followed up by the March ’14 edition of Ground Engineering Magazine.

Suttle Projects look forward to another busy year full of challenging scour protection schemes on the railway and elsewhere.
