Suttle Stone Quarries is a family-run business specialising in the quarrying and supply of high-quality stone and aggregates across Dorset and beyond. With operations based in locations such as Swanworth Quarry in Worth Matravers and California Quarry in Swanage, the company supports a variety of end users, from large scale coastal defence projects and large sites to domestic and residential projects. Committed to sustainability, Suttle Stone Quarries also operates a Stone and Recycling Depot in Poole that recycles inert waste into high-quality recycled aggregates. We have our own plant fleet within the quarry as well as a fleet of FORS accredited tipper lorries and a HIAB, ensuring reliable delivery while adhering to the highest safety standards. Guided by core values of honesty and reliability, we aim to provide quality materials and dependable service for diverse end users.

HGV Driver role includes:

This is a full-time HGV driver job, working out of our quarry depot in Worth Matravers.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • CPC Qualification
  • Tipper experience preferred (training can be provided & newly qualified drivers will be considered for the right candidate)
  • A strong work ethic and reliability
  • Knowledge of local and regional routes is preferred
